Can you make out the "new race"?
In the past, having a big family was a normal way to live in society. I strongly believe that, althought happiness and responsibility are part of having a big family, living alone helps you to develop and achieve your own projects and goals.
In the first place, when you live alone, you can develop new skills that you couldn't imagine to do. For instance, new projects to discover useful things which need strong concentration.
On the other hand, it can be argued that having a big family improves your sense of responsibility and life in society. For instance, learning how to cope with your children's different temper helps you to deal with daily life problems.
All things considered, it seems to me that living alone has more advantages in order to actualize your own dreams, whatever they are.
